sad things that have happened in the world

Yes, the boston bombing IS a big deal, it IS very sad and innocent lives WERE lost. But 3 people died and 140 people were injured. I don't remember this many headlines or the first page of a newspaper being filled with images of victims from other countries. Like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan… the list goes on. Why don't people care then?
